About Ronin Stays
My name is Josh “Ronin” LeGare.
I am a Real Estate Agent, Army veteran, Girl Dad, and Travel Enthusiast.
After 11 years as an infantry officer, including service with the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vicenza, Italy and the 6th Ranger Training Battalion in Holt, Florida, I frequented Airbnbs across 40+ European countries. That experience fueled my passion to help vacationers explore the Emerald Coast without overpaying for hotels.

I absolutely recommend this home !!
With 4 bedrooms, 5 big beds and 3 bathrooms, this was the perfect gathering spot for our big family, plus a few friends. Although we didn't prepare any meals other than breakfast, it looks like the spacious kitchen is well-equipped with the tools to do so. We had plenty of space to eat our carryout meals: the kitchen table easily seats 8 (the 4 chairs plus the 4 barstools that are the perfect height for the table), there is a table in the backyard and also picnic tables at the park across the street. The ping pong table (plus paddles/balls) in the garage was great for a family tournament. We brought paddles/balls for pickleball across the street. We bought wood for a bonfire in the backyard. We loved the two couches for gathering around board games. A 10 minute car ride away, the beach was beautiful. The only problem was that we couldn't stay longer in Ft. Walton Beach! Thank you!
Our short stay was great and we loved that they had everything we needed for our kiddos and that it was well stocked with basic supplies! The location was close to everything and the neighborhood was great as well! Overall 10/10! If we were to vacation here in the Destin Area again, we definitely would consider staying here!
We had a great stay. Place was very clean. The location was close to restaurants and grocery stores. The kitchen was equipped with several kitchen gadgets that were nice to find. We plan to stay here future visits when visiting family in the area.
Such a wonderful place to stay! The home is beautifully updated, very clean, and had plenty of space for everyone. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. The location was ideal, and the neighborhood felt peaceful, private, and safe. Highly recommend!
We stayed for 2 months and were very pleased with the house. It was conveniently located to many restaurants and activities. You could get to almost anything you wanted to do within about 30 minutes. The house was clean with just a few minor problems. Was located in a nice neighborhood and the beaches are beautiful! Would highly recommend staying in this house.
This place was great! Everything was as advertised & my family loved being there untill ( in the middle of preparing dinner) the power went out for an entire evening. We were told it was out of the hosts control...(ok fine). However that was it, no offer of compensation, no gesture in the least - to try and help us feel better about our vacation ending on a sour note. I personally feel like a credit, partial refund, gift card of any minimal amount would have at least been a reasonable, customer service driven extension of empathy & understanding. In the end we felt like just another number, just another guest, just another receipt. That is what is missing nowadays. A touch of caring sentiment that has the power to speak volumes to today's customer.
