This place was great! Everything was as advertised & my family loved being there untill ( in the middle of preparing dinner) the power went out for an entire evening. We were told it was out of the hosts control...(ok fine). However that was it, no offer of compensation, no gesture in the least - to try and help us feel better about our vacation ending on a sour note. I personally feel like a credit, partial refund, gift card of any minimal amount would have at least been a reasonable, customer service driven extension of empathy & understanding. In the end we felt like just another number, just another guest, just another receipt. That is what is missing nowadays. A touch of caring sentiment that has the power to speak volumes to today's customer.

We enjoyed this stay immensely and would definitely return. We liked everything about it: close proximity to the stunning and pristine Fort Walton beach (2 minute walk), nearby restaurants and stores, balcony side view of the ocean (replete with elegant palm trees waving in the breeze), and also the thoughtfully arranged layout and interior decorating. We were comfortable and pleased with the value and amenities. Oh, and the communication was excellent too. Lastly, the other people we met near the condo and locals working in and around Fort Walton and Destin are truly so kind and personable. Highly recommend Ronin Stays.
Comfortable! Clean! Cozy!<br/>My family spent 5 nights here for Thanksgiving Holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed our time! I was able to cook dinner in a nice kitchen! We ate as a family at the nice wooden table ! <br/>The area was quiet with a relaxed feel! It was literally a 2 minute walk to and from the beach!<br/>Our 20 year old daughter and our 4 year old son had such a great time! We will definitely stay again!

Cancellation policy
Refundable Bookings
Cancellation deadlines:
- For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
- For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
- Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
Fair-Refund Policy
If you cancel after the deadline:
- Ronin Stays will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
- The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
Half-Now, Half-Later Bookings
- The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
- The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy above.
Non-Refundable Bookings
If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Date Changes & Rebooking
Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself. If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
Transfers to Another Guest
You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge. Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email. The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
Policy Match Guarantee
If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Ronin Stays will match it.
